Video surveillance helped local police track down a suspected thief.
Authorities got a call from a business owner in Chatham yesterday and say a man was spotted on video stealing tools from a workplace and getting into personal vehicles.
Police identified the accused as a 53-year-old from Wallaceburg, who was tracked down and charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
He was released from custody with a date in court next month.
