Damage is pegged at $450,000 following a weekend fire in Duart.
Crews from Station 10 in Orford responded to a home on Duart Road near McLean Line shortly after 10 o’clock Saturday night to find flames beginning to show from the side of the home.
The blaze was eventually doused with backup from Ridgetown fire fighters.
Officials say because of the severity of the fire and the unsafe nature of the building, the cause has been listed as undetermined.
