An investigation is ongoing after a fire broke out in a garage on Highway 40 in Wallaceburg.
Chatham Kent Fire and Rescue said firefighters from Wallaceburg, Chatham, Dover, and Tupperville responded to 27856 St. Clair Rd. (Highway 40) at around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday to find the detached garage on fire.
Fire crews remained on scene for over two hours to extinguish the blaze and address remaining hotspots.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and a cost estimate of the damage caused has not been released at this time.
