A local organization is celebrating four decades of dementia care in Chatham-Kent.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent, and officials are planning to mark the occasion in style.
Tickets are now on sale for the anniversary gala, set to take place Friday, November 20th at the Links of Kent Golf Club and Event Centre.
The evening will include entertainment, fine dining, a silent auction, a diamond earring raffle, and a retrospective of the last four decades of supporting those living with dementia.
All proceeds from this event will support future expansion of the Day Programs in Chatham-Kent, which are currently offered in Chatham and Wallaceburg.
