Fireworks will light up the sky in Tilbury tonight.

It’s the first of several Canada Day celebrations being held across the municipality.

Hosted by the Tilbury BIA, the celebration begins at 7pm in Tilbury Memorial Park with live music, cupcakes, and family-friendly activities. Fireworks are set to begin at dusk.

A parade will make its way through Ridgetown this evening. The procession will begin lining up on West Street at 5pm, the parade will start at 6pm. A free concert by Dirt Country will be held behind the Ridgetown Legion with hot dogs and fries also available.

Canada Day festivities are also being held on July 1st at the Wallaceburg and District Museum from 12 until 5. The event includes a barbecue, games, live entertainment, and more.

The Dawn Euphemia Fire Department is holding a barbecue on Lambton Line, just north of Dresden, which runs from 4:30 until 6:30 on Monday.

Glad Tidings Church in Blenheim will have fireworks to cap off the day. The event begins at 6 with live music, dance performances, and vendors. Fireworks start at dusk.
