Six local women are being honoured for their contributions to the community.
The May Court Club of Chatham has announced the winners of this year’s Women of Excellence Awards.
Christine Baribeau is being recognized for her patronage of or contribution to the arts, cultural diversity, and heritage of the community; Jann Wicket will be honoured in the Community and Volunteerism category; CEO of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Lori Marshall is being recognized for her contributions in health, science, and technology; Dr. April Rietdyk, recently retired General Manager of Health and Human Services for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, is being honoured in the Business and Professions category; Dr. Margery Holman is being recognized for education and training; and Meaghan King has been named this year’s Young Woman of Excellence.
