A new exhibit entitled CK. Faster. Higher. Stronger. opened this week.

Assistant Curator of the Chatham-Kent Museum, Kate Rosser-Davies, says it was a lot of work tracking down all of the items.

“We have, for example, some uniforms that different athletes wore,” Rosser-Davies says. “The Opening Ceremonies outfit that was worn by Shae-Lynn Borne at the Olympics in Lillihammer, and by basketball player Miranda Ayim in 2012 in London.”

The equipment dates back all the way to Louis Harding of Thamesville, who won hockey gold in 1924.

The exhibit runs now through September 2, 2018.

The Chatham-Kent Museum is open daily from 1-5pm, admission by donation.
