A local group is rolling out the red carpet for Newcomers to Canada and the municipality.

Starting tomorrow, Chatham-Kent Welcome Week will begin its inaugural run to make immigrants to Canada and especially CK feel at home.

The Chatham-Kent Local Immigration Partnership is hosting the festivities designed to connect newcomers with available services and promote a more diverse community.

The Partnership is comprised of over 40 local community groups, and all municipal residents are invited to take part in the activities across CK.

You can learn more about the events and locations on the municipal website, the CKLIP Facebook page or Twitter. You can connect with the group at cklip@chatham-kent.ca
