St. Clair Catholic District School Board Director of Education Dan Parr is announcing his retirement.
Parr started out in catholic education in 1986 as a teacher and his last day will be December of this year. Parr says when started 31 years ago, he didn’t know what the future had in store.
It just unfolded from there. I was always one to believe and to set my plan in place so that I would never have doors closed because of my lack of education, qualifications, ability or interest,” says Parr. “It’s been an amazing journey filled with a great deal of satisfaction and reward.”
Parr has held the position since the retirement of former director Paul Wubben in 2013.
