Changes are coming to the Sydenham Campus of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Interim CEO Ken Deane says these changes start with the building itself.
“We’ve decided to lock off the second and third floor, because the only people who need to be there are security and maintenance staff,” Deane says. “The meeting room on the second floor will be relocated down to what what was the old cafeteria, and we’re creating what we’re calling a community space, it will be available for meetings that outside groups can book.”
Deane also says that they’re looking at moving some programs and services to the Sydenham Campus to make more use of the facility.
Both Deane and provincially-appointed Supervisor Rob Devitt say that the Sydenham Campus is an important part of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, and they are working on improving and maintaining the site.
