Changes In The Wings For Chatham School

More changes are coming to Our Lady of Fatima School in Chatham. It’s all part of the work being done to revamp the English Catholic board’s French Immersion program in Chatham.

Trustees with the St Clair Catholic District School Board have approved a nearly $1.4 million contract to continue renovations at Our Lady of Fatima in Chatham.

The elementary school will eventually house the board’s French Immersion program.

Now through next November, crews will be renovating the exterior brick, building a new barrier-free universal washroom, and installing a new incoming water service.

A number of changes have already been made, including a retrofit and renovations to the child care area, and improvements to the parking lot and landscaping.

The final phase of work will see upgrades to the front entrance and administrative offices, replacing the gym floor, renovating existing washrooms, and other upgrades.
