A Chatham man has been arrested in connection to a violent confrontation.

According to Chatham-Kent Police, the man got into an argument with a woman at a Keil Drive South home Thursday morning when things turned physical.

Authorities say the woman was able to leave the situation and call for help.

The 30-year-old accused was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault, and uttering threats.

The man was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
