A 23-year-old man is facing charges after another man was stabbed with a knife in Chatham-Kent.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a disturbance on Saturday and learned that a 37-year-old man had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to the Chatham-Kent Hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He was later released.
As a result, the accused is now charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He has been released with a future court date.
