Charges have now been laid following a shoplifting incident in Chatham back in April.
On April 25th, police were called to the Shoppers Drug Mart in Grand Avenue West after four tablets were stolen from the electronics display.
Authorities were able to identify the suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest.
This morning, police tracked down the 23-year-old Walpole Island man, who was arrested during a traffic stop on Harvey Street.
While being taken into custody, officers also found he was carrying some marijuana.
In all, the accused is charged with theft, possession of property obtained by crime, and drug possession.
