A Chatham man will be walking for the next week after a hit and run in Chatham.
Two vehicles collided on Lacroix near Grand Avenue just after 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
No one was hurt, but police say the driver responsible took off before officers arrived.
The suspect was found a short distance away.
The 38-year-old man has been charged with careless driving, failing to remain at the scene of an accident and driving while under suspension. His vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded.
