Charges have been laid against a Chatham woman after a scuffle in downtown Chatham over the weekend.
Officers didn’t have far to go to respond to a disturbance on Third Street near Police Headquarters around 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say a man and woman got into an argument, which then turned physical.
A 42-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault, uttering threats, and on an outstanding warrant.
She was later released from custody with conditions and a future court date.
