Charges have now been laid in connection to a serious crash near Wheatley back in January.
Just after 6 on the evening of January 20th, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Wheatley Road and Goodreau Line.
A woman, who was in the vehicle heading west on Goodreau, suffered serious injuries and had to be transferred to Windsor for care. Her passenger and the other driver were both taken to hospital as a precaution.
Now, the woman, a 37-year-old from Amherstburg, has been charged with impaired driving, two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm, disobeying a stop sign, and failing to properly wear a seat belt.
She’ll have to face the charges in court on May 28th.
