A fight in Chatham has landed charges for a Stoney Point man.

Chatham-Kent Police responded to a call of two men fighting in the front yard of a Lacroix Street home shortly after 3 Wednesday afternoon.

Officers found a 37-year-old man, who they say was intoxicated and uncooperative.

Further investigation revealed the man arrived at the home uninvited and kicked the front door, shattering a glass panel.

The accused is facing charges under the Liquor License and Control Act as well as mischief under $5000.

He was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
