Charges Laid Following Pellet Gun Incident

A Lambton County teen is facing charges after an incident involving a pellet gun.

According to Provincial Police, officers were called to the Tank Street area around 5 o’clock Sunday afternoon after a report that three pedestrian had been shot from a distance.

One victim suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say the accused and victims were not known to one another.

A 14-year-old was arrested and has since been charged with three counts of assault with a weapon and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was released from custody and will be back in court in Sarnia at a later date.
