Charges have been laid following a crash in Mitchell’s Bay. 
Emergency crews were called to Main Street just before 8 last night after a vehicle hit a hydro pole.
Authorities say the car came to rest against the front porch of a nearby home.
The driver, a 32-year-old woman was taken to hospital as a precaution and was later charged with careless driving.
