A 40 year old man is facing several charges including impaired driving causing bodily harm after a cyclist was struck by a pickup truck Friday night.
Chatham-Kent police say it happened around 9:30 a. m. at st. Clair St. and Grand Ave.
The driver of the pick up fled the scene but officers located him a short while later at his residence.
The other charges include failing to stop, an dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
The man was later released with a future court date.
The cyclist was transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non life threatening injuries.
