Damage is pegged at $300,000 as a result of a garage fire on Charing Cross Road late Sunday afternoon.
Crews were called to the home just after 4 o’clock to find the garage fully engulfed and the flames spreading to the home.
Fire officials say a working smoke alarm warned a lone occupant when the fire spread, allowing him to escape.
The three-alarm blaze remains under investigation.
