The Wednesday fire that gutted the Polish Canadian Club on Inshes Avenue in Chatham caused about 3 million dollars in damage.
That estimate from Chatham-Kent Fire Services.
The blaze broke out 9 am and took fire fighters from 3 stations several hours to bring under control.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is as yet undetermined, and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office is also involved in the investigation.
