Trafficking charges have been laid against a Chatham man.

Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search of the man’s home and vehicle yesterday.

In all, roughly $36,000 worth of suspected cocaine was found, along with two cell phones, digital scales, and a large amount of cash.

The 23-year-old suspect is also facing charges for breaking his bail conditions. He’ll have to answer to a judge in court next month.
