A Chatham doctor will lose her medical licence due to sexually abusing a mentally ill female patient.
Dr. Mary McIntyre admitted to numerous acts of professional misconduct last summer, including having an improper romantic relationship with a vulnerable man and sexually abused the woman, both of whom were patients.
A judge has dismissed her appeal and upheld The committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario decision in her case.
The incidents date back to 2010, the 57-year-old McIntyre will also have to pay the legal costs of her appeal and original trial.
