No injuries have been reported following a house fire in Chatham.

Crews from stations 1 and 2 were called to Beth Crescent around 4 Thursday afternoon to find heavy smoke coming from the windows of the home.

The flames were contained to the kitchen, but because of the high heat and smoke, extensive damage was caused throughout the building.

Roughly $200,000 in damage has been done. The cause has been listed as accidental.
