Chatham-Kent Art House Launches Phase 2

Visual art selections for CK Art House Project. Works by Lee McFadden, Rena Lugtigheid, and Jordan Wills.

A local art collaborative is evolving.

Chatham-Kent Art House is a multi-disciplinary event. Phase 1 was launched in early March calling for submissions of visual art. With 31 local artists submitting 47 pieces for consideration, three pieces have now been selected to move on to the next stage.

Now through May 2nd, the jury is asking for creative writing submissions, drawing inspiration from the winning pictures.

Six works, two per picture, will be chosen to be published in a ‘zine, designed by jury member and interdisciplinary artist Danielle Coleman.

The other members of the five person jury include Dan White, Troy Brooks, Lynda Moffat, and Jim Capes.
