Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Further Reduces Visitors

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is implementing further visitor restrictions in response to the spread of COVID-19.
No visitors will be permitted to the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites with very few exceptions.
Only labouring mothers, paediatric patients and Level 2 Nursery, patients who are end-of-life and patients undergoing life-threatening surgery are allowed one consistent visitor.
No visitors will be permitted in the Intensive Care Unit(s).
Emergency department visitors are only permitted in connection to the same exceptions.
Visitors will continue to be actively screened into the hospital.  Any designated and permitted visitors must continue to be actively screened into these settings.
All visitors must be over the age of 18, designated by a patient in one of the units named above, must be non-symptomatic and are required to check in at the main entrance at the Chatham Site and Emergency Department (ED) at the Wallaceburg Site where they will undergo screening.
