Chatham-Kent Invited To Share Condolences For Queen Elizabeth II

With the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, residents in Chatham-Kent are being invited to share their messages of condolence.

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has provided a public condolence book at the Civic Centre in Chatham for anyone who wishes to sign. The book will be made available during regular business hours from Monday to Friday.

Those wishing to share condolences digitally may do so using the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent website by clicking here.

Flags at municipal service centres and facilities will also be flown at half-mast in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away at Balmoral Castle in Scotland last Thursday at the age of 96.

Canada and the UK will both mark a 10-day period of mourning in honour of the late queen who was the longest-reigning monarch in British history.
