Chatham-Kent Police Service Officer Charged

A Chatham-Kent Police Service officer has been arrested and charged following a drug complaint.

Chatham-Kent Police were called on March 21^st involving an off duty member. CKPS responded to the call and began to investigate, Sarnia Police were also in part of the investigation. As a result, Constable Cristelle VandenEnden was arrested without incident Wednesday.

She was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.

VandenEnden has been released from custody and will appear in court October 21^st.
