Public Health is confirming Chatham-Kent’s third COVID-19-related death.
The patient, previously admitted to the ICU, is the third death connected to the coronavirus in the municipality.
Additionally, C-K Public Health is reporting two new cases of the infection over the weekend, with four active cases.
In total, Chatham-Kent has had 371 total cases, 364 recoveries and 3 deaths.
Province-wide, Ontario reported 615 new cases on Monday. Nearly half of those cases are from Toronto (289) with 88 new infections in Peel and 81 in Ottawa. The York region reported 47 new cases, with 26 in Halton, 15 in Waterloo and 10 in Durham.
Lambton Public Health continues to report no new cases today, Windsor-Essex has one new case and Middlesex-London has added eight.
