An 18 year old Chatham man is facing several charges following an incident in a park Thursday night.
Police say they learned, through investigation, the man approached two teen boys known to him, in a park near Duke and Park Street.
The man allegedly threatened the boys and another family member while in possession of a knife.
He was charged with being in possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, 2 counts of failing to comply, and 3 counts of uttering threats.
The man was held pending a bail hearing.
