Charges have been laid after a man and a woman were assaulted at a home in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the Grand Avenue West residence on Wednesday at around 10 p.m., for a report of a disturbance.
Following an investigation, officers learned that the two people had been assaulted and a 35-year-old man was arrested.
The accused is charged with two counts of assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm. He was held pending a bail hearing.
