Charges have been laid against a Chatham man after a dispute with his ex. 
Authorities say the man used a pocket knife to scratch his ex-wife’s car over the weekend, causing several thousand dollars in damage.
Police were called, and found the man asleep in a second-floor bathroom of the home.
The 36-year-old is charged with mischief over $5000.
