Chatham Vendors’ Market Aims To Bring Together Minority Groups

A local bar is hosting a community flea market in an effort to bring together minority groups across Chatham-Kent.

The Punk Rock Flea Market will take place in downtown Chatham at Skinny’s Bar on September 14, featuring over 30 indoor and outdoor vendors.

According to organizers, the main focus of the market is to create a community for individuals from minority groups dubbed “Chatham-Kent misfits.”  Chatham Hope Haven, which has partnered with the event, will be on-site to collect donations and pass out Naloxone Kits with training.

The Punk Rock Flea Market runs from noon until 5 p.m. at 162 King St. W. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page by clicking here.
