Chatham-Kent Police are investigating after a fatal VIA Rail passenger train collision involving a pedestrian and a dog.
Police say a 42-year-old Chatham woman was pronounced dead at the scene, along with her dog.
The incident happened shortly after 11:30 Sunday night along the CN Railway on Park Avenue West near Wedgewood Avenue in Chatham.
A post-mortem has been scheduled for today in London.
