A Chatham woman is facing charges for allegedly causing property damage and shoving a senior citizen.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a woman was seen breaking several items outside of a Wellington Street residence in Chatham shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday. She then pushed a 63-year-old woman to the ground after being approached and then fled the scene.
A suspect was later located by police and arrested.
The 35-year-old Chatham woman is now charged with assault and mischief under $5,000. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
