Chatham-Kent’s sweetest festival is returning for its 40th year.
The annual Cherry Fest kicks off in downtown Blenheim this Thursday.
The three-day festival will include midway rides, vendors, live music, and contests.
“We’ve got so much stuff downtown for people of all ages,” said event organizer J.P. Huggins.
The festival will also feature a Cherry-Oke contest Thursday evening, a cherry pie eating contest on Friday, and the Pit Spit Competition on Saturday.
“You can win some great prizes at the Cherry-Oke, the pie-eating contest and the pit spit. It’s all free to come out, compete, try out and just have an awesome time out at Cherry Fest,” said Huggins.
All-day passes for the festival can be purchased for $25.
