A young Wallaceburg boy is being treated in hospital in Michigan after being mauled by two dogs.
Around 5 o’clock Monday afternoon, two kids were playing with their babysitter at Jaycee Park when two dogs escaped from their home and attacked the youngest child.
A man and woman ran to help – a six-year-old boy was able to get to safety, but a three-year-old was seriously hurt.
The child was taken to the Sydenham District Hospital, but has since been transferred to the States for further treatment.
The babysitter suffered non-life threatening injuries, was treated in hospital and released.
The dogs are now under quarantine with PAW Animal Rescue.
