The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent (CTC-CK) has been recognized for its high standards for quality and safety.

The CTC-CK has been accredited with “Exemplary Standing,” the highest level awarded through Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum Program.

CTC officials said the accreditation demonstrates the organization’s commitment to quality, safety, and client-centred care.

The centre was awarded the designation after completing an accreditation program that took place over a three-day period in May. The CTC-CK takes part in the program every four years and is assessed on governance, leadership, infection prevention and control, and care provision practices.
