salvation-army-luncheonThe 42nd annual Childs family poor boy’s luncheon raised more than $6,700 at the UAW Hall in Wallaceburg on Monday afternoon.

Over the course of its history, the event has now raised more than $300,000 for the local Chatham-Kent Ministries of the Salvation Army.

Mark Childs, owner of the Black Goose and organizer of the fundraiser, commends the support of the local community and their contributions over the years.

All donations from the luncheon are earmarked to remain in the Wallaceburg community.
