The Christmas Wish Tree event always helps get us in the spirit of Christmas will still go ahead this holiday season but it look a lot different.
The campaign organizers say for the first time in the 30 year history there will not be an open ceremony to light the trees.
The pandemic makes gathering for the light show impossible so the ceremony will be broadcast on YourTV and Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s Facebook page.
The ceremony at the Wallaceburg campus will take place on Wednesday December 16th and on the 17th in Chatham. Both nights the fun gets underway at 6 pm.
As is the case every year your donations put the lights on the tree.
Retired business leaders Bob and Robin Hockney have generously agreed to match each donation through the end of November up to $25,000.
All proceeds will support CKHA’s Urology services through the purchase of a new Bladder Scanner for CKHA’s Wallaceburg Site, and a new Urodynamics Machine for CKHA’s Chatham Site. The two pieces of equipment are among the remaining items needed to complete the Urology unit.
