Charges continue to pile up against organizers of illegal church gatherings in Chatham-Kent.

Chatham-Kent Police say 42 vehicles were found in the parking lot of the Old Colony Mennonite Church in Dresden on May 16th, with 50-60 people inside the building.

Now, a 58-year-old Dresden man has been charged under the Reopening Ontario Act for violating the province’s stay at home order.

Current COVID restrictions limit the capacity of indoor and outdoor religious services to 10 people.

The accused is set to appear in court on June 30th.
