An annual event showcasing the work and creative spaces of local artists is returning to Chatham-Kent.

The third annual CK Artist Studio Tour will take place on May 31 and June 1, featuring 16 locations displaying the work of 11 artists, as well as five gallery locations.

“The depth of talent and vibrancy of Chatham-Kent’s creative community is one of our region’s best-kept secrets,” said Vicki McFarland, a local artist and co-chair of the organizing committee, in a news release. “We are fortunate to have so many individuals working so many disciplines and mediums.”

Some artists will be opening up their studios, while others will be set up in group locations. The gallery spaces will also feature artists on-site, demonstrating their work.

Organized by the Chatham-Kent Arts and Culture Network, the tours will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Saturday and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the Sunday.
