The Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce has a new chair, and she’s looking forward to the year ahead.
Cecily Coppola is the chair-elect and says it’s going to be an exciting year for the chamber.
“We’re very excited to welcome on nine new directors, a lot of new faces around the table from a variety of different backgrounds,” Coppola says. “We’re really looking forward to building stronger partnerships with our municipal partners and other local chambers, coming together to be one voice and one form of support for our partners in commerce.”
Coppola, Executive Director of Restorative Justice Chatham-Kent, is the only representative from the not-for-profit sector on the board.
Up next for the Chamber is the 129th Annual Business Excellence Awards, set for March 30th.
