Chatham-Kent council will hear several reports tonight connected to the pandemic including one in the effect it’s had on employment levels.
The municipality has seen a reduction of about 20 per cent of the nearly 1900 employees.
Over 330 positions have disappeared along with another 140 unpaid positions and Summer jobs that will not be filled.
They will also hear about employee redeployment to assist during the pandemic.
