The number of active cases has dropped again. Chatham-Kent Public Health is reporting just one new case today along with 7 resolved, lowering the active caseload to 56.

There are currently two local residents and one non-CK resident are being treated for COVID-19 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. One COVID-positive patient is in intensive care.

As well, hospital officials say two CKHA staff have tested positive for the virus and another 16 staff are isolating due to close contact.

Three workplace outbreaks are still on the books along with outbreaks at Hudson Manor in Tilbury and Meadow Park Nursing Home in Chatham.
