Another 20 cases of COVID-19 have surfaced in Chatham-Kent.
Today’s report from Public Health includes 16 recoveries, but another two local patients being treated for the virus in hospital.
The total number of active cases in the municipality has gone up to 132.
There are now 14 outbreaks, with an additional outbreak in a congregate living setting.
Lambton County has reported 85 new infections along with 61 recoveries. That brings the region’s active caseload to 248.
In Windsor-Essex the public health unit is reporting 175 new cases and another 16 deaths linked to the virus.
Province-wide, 41 deaths have been reported. A bit of good news through as the provincial numbers have dipped slightly with 2903 new infections reported. The Ministry of Health also says that includes eight new cases of the UK variant.
