An arrest has been made following a hit and run in Ridgetown.
Early this morning, police claim the accused rear-ended another vehicle on Ridge Line and then took off. No one was hurt.
Authorities were able to identify the vehicle involved and tracked down a 35-year-old man a short time later. He’s now been charged with several Highway Traffic Act offences.
Meantime, charges have been laid following a collision in Chatham.
Officers were called to St Clair Street near Oxley Drive for a two-vehicle crash yesterday morning.
Two people were taken to hospital as a precaution.
A 34-year-old woman has been charged with careless driving.
