A local food bank is once again reaping the rewards of Christmas tradition.

The annual S’Aints Sleighing Hunger holiday show at Caesars Windsor in December brought in just shy of $115,000 to be divided between 16 food banks in Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

Brenda LeClair, Executive Director of Outreach for Hunger has now announced the local food bank has received its share of the proceeds, totaling $20,000.

Over the last 10 years, the concert has raised more than $557,000 to support those in need in the region.
